Hola, everyone. I am new to the board. I live in St. Louis, Missouri USA. I spent two weeks in Spain in May (Madrid, Sevilla, & Cordoba), and have been looking for reasons to go back ever since.
Since I returned from Spain, I have been trying to learn Spanish as quickly as possible, so I can find a new job that requires me to travel to Spain & use my new language skills. It’s very tough to learn quickly, living in the US, so I’ve decided to go back to Spain in January 2006 for 4-weeks of intensive language classes. My plan is to spend 2 weeks in Malaga and then 2 weeks in Sevilla.
By January, I will have only one semester of Spanish classes under my belt. But I have been very motivated and studying quite a bit. My goal is to arrive in Spain as an advanced beginner and leave highly conversational. I’m interested to know if anyone has experience with any of the language programs below, and/or if anyone knows of Spanish tutors in either Malaga or Sevilla, that I might use to supplement the classes.
Here are the language schools I’m considering:
MALAGA
