Does anyone know if it is called La Gran Crisis...or La Gran Depresi�n???

We were not very inventive with this: "la gran depresi�n". Like the day of the crash itself, it is the "jueves negro" (I think it was the "black Thursday"). The only thing is that, one of this weird wrong translation that happen so often in Spain, a big drop on the value of the Stock (a big crash) is sometimes called a "crack": somebody tried to used the English word, but he or she did it wrong, but anyway the wrong word has found its way. Fortunately, it is called a "crash" more and more often, and so "crack" is being less used... If we have to use English words, at least let's do it correctly! ;-)

I ahve asked a cople of Spanish "book worms" at work and they have both agreed that in school, the topic is known as "la gran depresi�n del 29".
