Jer you are so right about Spain having internet cafes everywhere. In Madrid you can do your laundry and read your e-mail at OndaBlu! And in just about every street there is an internet cafe. I preferred BBIGG in Calle de Alcala in Madrid, because it was easily accessible, they were open until 11 p.m. and on weekends, and I did not have to climb any stairs to get to it! The Internet sure has changed the way we travel!

I have tried out a few internet cafes but my favourite is ono.com, on gran via, towards plaza de espana, great price, 1 euro for 1 hour, and you get a card that you just slip into the computer and refill, and the internet is fast and very reliable. Never pay more than 1.20 euro for one hour, a waste of money, just walk around and you will probably find a favourite place, there are many cafes on almost every street in Madrid just one month left until I move to madrid for real, sooooo exciting

Hey lin_san, thanks for the news on ONO. They DEFINITELY have one of THE fastest connections around. I popped my head in there (the one on Gran Va, there is another on Calle Fuencarral) about 8 months ago when they had just opened up and they were charging a whopping 500 pesetas (3 Euros) per hour Good to see they have come down in price, but I guess with all the competition they had no choice. Saludos, jer...

hi all! my bf works at an internet cafe...it's called Casa de Internet and it's in metro BILBAO on calle Luchana. The owner just raised the prices but you can do everything there, scan pics, copy cds, use the webcam(on a few comps) and even plug in your own labtop. so yeah, and the best thing is the people who work there! peace

key words are "should be" unfortunately, 1 pc in a neighborhood library where you can spend just a half hour tops never cuts it. saludos, jer...
