Hi lealanai, Sorry about the wording on that MONEY MATTERS SECTION when I talk about credit cards, I am going to rewrite it a bit to make it less confusing. Mastercard is almost universally accepted here in Spain, AMEX is really the only card that can give travellers problems due to the fact that the commissions they charge businesses are so much higher than those of VISA and MC nad therefore many of the stores, restaurants, services, etc... do not want to accept it. So, what I meant to do on that section was to make it clear that VISA is the card of choice for Spain but I guess I worded it in a way that is could scare off more than a few from bringing MC. Use the MC, it will be accepted just about everywhere they take credit cards. Saludos, jer...
