Just wanted to drop a line in and let all of the mm'ers know that I am moving to Madrid in August. A full month away I know, but I wanted to get a leg up on finding friends. You see, I get real lonely if I don't have anybody to talk to, and it is never a good idea to drink alone. I am a nice guy and loads of fun to be around. Really. I'd even go so far as to say that I am the nicest guy I know since the last time I met somebody nice.
Also, I am looking for a place to live. Something grand with lots of natural light, with a tub I can stretch out in. Willing to settle for a spare closet in an already full apartment.
�Did I mention employement? You see, a job would be nice too. I am a photographer by trade, and a starving artist by default. My mom says I can do anything if I put my mind to it. I am fluent in english, naturally, and am learning spanish by the truckload. I recently became a spanish citizen and must learn fast.
So if you are in Madrid, or will be in Madrid, or if you know somebody in Madrid, please let me know. Especially if you want to be my friend. Or rent me a room. Or give me a job. Even if you can only point me in the right direction, that would be close enough. Posts here will be checked every few days as I begin the pilgrimage again early next week.
