Tomatina is coming up guys, anyone going? It would be nice to meet up with a few people there.

Does anyone know anyone who has been able to get a good vantage point, safely away from the tomatoes? I need to take pictures but sadly the Buñol Ayuntamiento is pretty rubbish in getting back to me on press access.

By the way, if you are thinking of going but haven't started looking at how to get there, I've put some advice on getting to the Pamplona Bull Run on my site: http://gospain.about.com/od/spanishfestivals/qt/tomatinatravel.htm

Hi there,

I've got 2 friends from Australia and 1 aussie friend from England coming over for Tomatina, and happy to put you in contact....Sadly I wont get there until the tomato throwing is over (night of 30th) but hopefully there will be some residual party-ing in Valencia.... We are taking the tip of staying in Valencia, and all are getting there in different ways, bus/car and flights !

By the way, excellent website you have ! I have already e-mailed your website (and of course the multimadrid one!) to lots of visitors coming to Spain & Madrid. Love the articles and tips.. bull fighting one was interesting reading, and speaking of tips.. you really think that it not customary to tip in Spain... maybe a topic for another thread- to tip or not to tip....

Maybe see you at Tomatina/party in Valencia afterwards!

Hello Damian
Thank you for the information about the Tomatina.
I think I'll take a day off and go back and forth, just to see once the tomato throwing.
I love Valencia, especially the modern part, The City of Arts and Sciences, developed by the architect Calatrava, for me these structures with their "movement" are kind of a modern Gaudi's buildings.

BTW I love you website, Where have you been hiding all this time?

Thanks
Nava

Thank you for the kind words guys, I'm really enjoying making the site. Until traffic picks up (Google needs to be more familiar with me first) the compliments are the only thing keeping me going!
