ok, well, i'm not so keen on those beaches, specially on september...why? they are on palma bay and, yeah they are really convenient, but on sept the water can be a bit dirty. If you want a beach near palma, try
illetas beach, there are like 3 of them and the good thing is that they have various locations...

, what i mean is that the wind blows south, for instance, all the dirt goes to the southern beaches but on illetas you have in like 2 min walk, a east facing beach and a west...that way you can always swim in totally clean and transparent water wihtout cheking out first where does the wind blow.
totally right the
es trenc thing though, is my favorite beach...is 5 km long, and the nudist part is like 1 km so not to worry if you don't want to see them probably you wont see anything! (i usually go to the nudist part, totally dressed, mind, as well as my friends, and nobody cares we are not naked, is just that on that place is quite deserted and there are no kids running around!

)
Another great beach, but on the other side of the island, near cala ratjada, is
cala agulla like es trenc, it has no buildings just dunes and trees

bright blue water like i haven't seen again and is not a very hot beach, always a cool breeze!! the problem is that the roads are quite old so it can get up to 1 hour and a half 2 get there, if you go to spend the day, trust me, is worth it!!! however it is a "german" beach, the last time i went there the guy in the chiringuito invited me and my friends to the cokes we ordered as we were the first spanish people he saw in one week!!!
well, must say is not the first time it happened.
try
costa de los pinos as well, nice sandy beaches!
two quite close to palma beaches that are "english" are
santa ponsa ..(actually half english half german) and
palma nova (100% english)
the two first ones i recommended are "spanish" beaches.
you must go as well to
formentor beach, in the north but if the weather is nice, and has a bit to sightsee as well (great mirador)
the rest of the north coast are tiny peebles beaches, if u want to see one of those try
lluc alcari (this is a reaaaally insider info!) u have to walk through a property (legally, don't worry) for 20 min and then on the beach there are this "barros" (mud??) u cover yourself with and there are supposed to b great for the skin or something...i did it once and i was much softer!
hope that helped!!!!
besiiitos!
