I will be in Spain from July 16 to August 20 (Yupi). Sorry I cannot be there sooner, the BBQ sounds like it will great fun - maybe next year. Has anyone been to Cocentaina in August for La fiesta de moros y cristianos. I would love some first-hand feedback from this group. Thanks Jer for creating this site.

Hi Mary! Wellcome to Multimadrid!!! You�ll be in the middle of the summer in Spain and there are a buch of public holidays at that time in all Spain, specially in "Levante" Southeast area of Spain.
I hope that you�ll enjoy you staying here and I�d love to meet you in Madri during that time too.

I personally have only observed ther fiestas de moros y cristianos on TV or videos but I did get a great # of results pages on the festival on google.com, CLICK HERE TO GO THERE

Hello Jer, Thanks for letting me know about all those great web-sites on las fiestas de M&C. I have enjoyed exploring them.
I guess that no other members have been to see the fiestas. I have heard that they were very interesting. Anyhow I will let you know what I think about them and maybe I can send a picture or two if I can figure out how to do it
