Well, Jer, everyone talks about it...please tell me there is something like the Old Farmers Almanac, and that the weather in "sunny" Spain is going to improve! This is NOT typical for this time of year, is it? Even up on the Bay of Biscay? It seems the "Old World", including China, is getting drowned, while much of the New World, at least out west, is getting burned up!
I'm sick with dread about walking my "charges" through the streets of San Sebastian in downpours..

My parents just got back (to Spain) on Wednesday from a week in Paris and said that it was rainy and yuckky most of their time there as well. I suspect the storm is traveling south a bit, ride the wave it should be over soon. In the mean time, lets all smile about this rain that we are getting! Spain really really needs it!
I was wondering about the rain situation in Spain. Here in VA we are in drought conditions and everytime it rains, it's mostly a drop or two and then the storm decides to move on. We have had over 30 days of 95 degree or more of heat.
I hope that Spain gets the rain that it needs and not suffer like some parts of the US.
