Just heard some rumors that daylight savings would happen this weekend, but on the Internet it says Oct. 30. It is the same in the US and here, correct?

If so, the 30th is when it is - FYI.

The European system is: all EU countries make a 1-hour change at the same instant (therefore any differences are constant). It is done
in the early morning of the LAST Sunday in March (forward) and October (back).

Anyone know if we're making the change tomorrow like the US? I just read somewhere that Europe is not following.

Juliette, it's never been that early!!! This year it's 25th March in Europe big grin Not heard anything to the contrary, so am presuming it will go ahead as normal!

When we change our clocks

I found this,

Beginning in 2007, most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. In the U.S., each time zone switches at a different time.

In the European Union, Summer Time begins and ends at 1:00 a.m. Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). It begins the last Sunday in March and ends the last Sunday in October. In the EU, all time zones change at the same moment.

Hope that is of use.

Yep, we change this weekend (March 10-11). It is three weeks earlier than normal.
