hey patitoduke. your car has spanish plates but do you have a spanish license or do you drive on a license from somewhere else? if you have a spanish license, with the "new" points system, you can lose points on the license. many will argue that the fine will never catch up with you but others will say it certainly will. the fine notification says on it that they city can put a lean on your bank accounts/salary/goods but i have read that unless there are multiple tickets that sum a large amt, it is not likely they will do this. unpaid tickets can also cath up to you when you go to re-register your car. saludos, jer...
