We are traveling through Spain with Trafalgar's Package Tour for two weeks. We are not sure we understand the clothing suggestions for summer travel. Are men wearing sgorts and polo style shirst acceptable? Can women wear shorts and print shirts in public buildings? We will be traveling through Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Pomplona, and the Cost del Sol. We want to be sure we have the right traveling clothes.
Thanks

Hi Dale, jer here. All the clothes you mentioned are more than appropriate for Spain, don't worry. I would let the weather guide your wardrobe chices since you will not enjoy your trip if you are very hot and uncomfortable. I am one of those people that believe it is better to be comfy than stylish. Although today it is amazing out with a great breeze, last week it was 40 Celsius here in Madrid and downright HOT. It looks to be a hot summer so dress for it.
Also, there are some other posts about "Dressing for Spain" on this board that you can go to by clicking 1) HERE and 2) HERE. Others seem to be concerned with much of the same.
Your itinerary sounds ABSOULTELY AMAZING, hava a great time and be sure to wave to me on my balcony when in the Plaza Mayor of Madrid. Saludos, jer...
