anyone know where i can get US-sized passport fotos done? i need 2"x2" (apx. 5x5cm), and generally the fotos done in those automatic machines on the street don't make it. also, i went into a foto shop and they don't make them that big (the spanish passport foto requirements is a bit smaller). in el corte ingles in sol they told me they don't do them there either. hmmm, anyone have a clue?
Christian just had to get a new passport and had the same problem. He ended up getting his done at a photo place that is on Duque de Alba (the street that runs for one long block between La Latina and Tirso de Molina). If you are going from La Latina, it's on the left side. At first they did the wrong size, then he showed them his passport and they were able to do the right kind.
But, even better, he discovered that the US embassy has a photo booth inside that does the right size passport photos.

OK, thanks Meghan! Me and you should just make up our own board, hehe. I think I´ll wait till I go back home next week and do it there, since I have a couple days before I need the fotos.
Go to the US embassy here in Madrid. There is a photo booth inside that has the required size photos. It beats running all over town trying to find the size. And you can turn in your passport renewal application at the embassy, if that is why you need the photos.
