As soon as we left Madrid a Monroe exhibit comes into the cultural center of Madrid. Can anyone advise me if they have an exhibit catalog and how one can order one? By the way thansk so much for your good site. Our sons is headng back home with his hard earned MBA from Inst Empresa. Your site helped us keep in touch with him and of course, beautiful Madrid allt hrough the year! We were there twice. Once in Dec 2003 and again this past Dec. Truly beautiful place we fell in love with. Thansk again !

err...hi dad

I passed by the exhibit. If anyone doesn't know the museum is under the waterfalls at Colon. Unfortunately, it was closed on Monday. I think from Tuesday-Saturday it's open from 10-9.

hey.

ena and i went to this exhibit yesterday and we enjoyed it a lot.

some very nice photographs, lithographs, paintings, etc..

i recommend it to anyone (and the price is right Big Grin ).

MiguelsDad, checked on the "exhibit catalog" and here is what htye had.

a tri-fold pamphlet with basic info about the exhibit - free.
a book about marilyn and the exhibit. full color and quite big, features info and photos of the artwork - 25 euros.
a poster. basically a full size poster with marilyn pop painting by antonio de felipe ( www.andipamodern.com/WorksbyDEFELIPEANTONIO.htm ), the date and place of the exhibit, etc... - 3 euros.

you can only get these items at the exhibit.
hope this helps.

my faves of the exhibit were the works by antonio de felipe.

saludos,

Jer,

Thanks for the post...sorry for the late reply. I left before I could even visit the exhibit. I let my dad know about the stuff available/on display and he tried doing some more internet searching, but I dunno what he found.

Regards,

Mike
