Well, you've got to think of it in a bit more of an opportunistic manner. I've been trying to find a way to get my coworkers to start off their morning singing the Kansas State Anthem (Home on the Range)....This could be just the push I need!

:jeje: Sedusa, One of my library assistants thought that it was a real paper, and showed me the article. I had to explain about sarcastic humor. I love the Onion too and its irreverent humor.

:b: Now I can admit that I had to look through quite a few of the articles before I realised that it was not a "real" newspaper!!! Had never heard of it before (the Brit thing again I suppose!!) but have now got it under Favourites!!

Roflol jer, I was waiting for that reply from someone !! :jeje: I actually sent that to my husband who works in Saudi for Halliburton (Dick Cheney was their CEO) and all employees got sent a message saying that the site was not for such things!! :b:

Aluche, you and I are on teh same page! Before I even opened up this thread I went to the Onion to cut and paste the very same link here!
I actually have been assigning my English students Onion articles for a while now. They love it. I figured since so much of their English studying is BORING grammar stuff, the Onion would be a welcome relief. It is...they love it and they are going to flip over this article! HAHAHAHAH.
