You are doing such a wonderful thing, cats are great!!! I have had at least 25 in my 31 years of life. Even had one (Alathea was her name) from when I was 2 yrs old until I was 19, yep, she lived 17 years
Funny thing is that my parents were going to name me Alathea if I were born a girl, I came out male (no wise cracks please
) so the cat got the name Alathea when we adopted her a few yrs later.
Have not been able to bring myself to adopt another cat since Alathea died of natural causes 10 yrs. ago
Soooooo many memories, hurts to think of having a cat that is not her around the house.
Hope you get some multimadridian solidarity out there.
