"Board Trustee"
|
Hi Elaine, I personally hate dancing, in all of its forms. Well, OK, there was this one in Mexico I saw once, about imitating a dying iguana, that looked OK, but there was far too much tequila and I don't think its apt for club dancing. Anyway I do have a good friend who is really into Salsa, I'll tell him to join multimadrid or email you directly. Maybe this way he'll stop bugging me about going with him to Salsa classes.
I hate quotations. Tell me what you know.

Hey, Elaine! I'd love to go with you! Salsera could tip us on places where we can get classes. I've gone with her several times to some places, but they were people who already knew how to gyrate those hips. I can also ask a fried to recommend a place.

For me, Thursday's fine. In fact, I THINK that most formal CLASSES in these salsa places are given on weekdays at an early time. Then on weekends I THINK they just let everyone in and swing it. At least in one place I know, they would give classes only on weekdays. Will check around with friends if they have more info.

thuersday is a good day at Ozona disco. If you have an invitation, you can pass free, and have a drink free. Avda del mediterraneo. Classes at 10, for begginers, and at 11, for intermediate. Ramdall is a good place too. Beautiful, and very good dancers. Calle Ferraz. www.salsaenmadrid.comhere you can get a lot of information about places and classes. See you soon juant

By the way. I just spoke with someone who says that in Randalls on Thursdays, the classes are more advanced. The Tuesday sessions there are the basic classes. Maybe we can try the other suggestion somebody mentioned? The Ozona? I am willing to try one or the other.
