Okay, here's the scoop:
First I would like to say that my favorite (and the best) day of salsa is Sunday!!!! I go to CATS (near Guzman el Bueno Metro) at around 9pm, then at 12 I'm off to La Riviera (near Principe Pio Metro). And I'm usually there til closing at 3:30/4am.

I had heard Serrano 41 was OK, do they have classes?? Same question for La sal??
quote:
La Sal (to my knowledge doesn't have lessons, but not entirely sure I can ask someone tonight). Serrano 41 was my favorite place (as some of you remember) but since they reopened after remodeling, they changed the floor. Unfortunately, not for the better. So a lot of my favorite dancers still go but the floor sucks. So sometimes I go to Azucar, help teach and stay for the club afterwards.
quote:
Salsera, u said u do lessons in Azucar in tuesdays - what time are they on at? and are they salsa or also include bachata/merengue?
quote:
I help my friend teach his classes at 10pm and they are intermediate salsa lessons only. The club plays bachata, merengue and cha cha cha but only give salsa lessons.
As for Friday, I usually go out of the city. So I suggest Tropical House on Friday. I will speak with my friends tonight to confirm that this is the best place in the city.
Elaine, I'll send you a private text with my digits so we can better plan because when it comes to posting on time........I suck!
