For those Ex-Pats like myself living abroad enjoying the WONDERFUL culinary offerings that Spain has to offer, there are however moments where you miss the flavor of say.....AN APPLEBEE'S TEQUILA LIME CHICKEN!!

And here's another of the same sort: www.copykat.com I confess I only made "Cinnabons for the Bread Machine" once; they were too good for a chubby grandma to indulge in.
Some recipes are impossible to duplicate because of differences in flour,etc. One thing I've noticed is that I can't even duplicate caf� con leche using Spanish coffee from La Tienda (www.tienda.com) because we don't have that neat tetra-brik milk here. I have an espresso machine, but it's just not quite right. Maybe it's the lack of "ambiente"....
