Great advice about the DVD rentals from the British Council EnglishPilot. I had no idea and will make a special visit this week. Smiler

MarkE, Im from Haywards Heath :z: Yes, that boring commuter town you whizz through on your way up to London and think "glad I dont live here".

Id agree with EnglishPilot on the Jazztel offer (youre doing well EP Big Grin ). My friend has had it for the last 4 months and not encountered a single problem. I think there is already a topic on ISP providers but in case you cant find it here are just some of the companies you can choose from (in no specific order):

Telefonica, Auna, Al, Jazztel, Wanadoo, Terra

By the way, congratulations to Chelsea :cheers:

hey soooooze, don't forget the best offer around --> ya.com ( http://acceso.ya.com ).

MarkE, i have the 1MB+free calls at home and the 512kbps+free calls at the office and they are AWESOME!!! have had it at home for a few months and at the office for a month and it ROCKS!!! see http://acceso.ya.com for all offers.

the 1MB wifi at home with the free 3com router is the one that is completely filling the plaza mayor with wireless --> www.plazawifi.com Cool (coming soon).

tecnically the same parent company as jazztel but the ya.com packages are a few euros more per month.

ya gives you a FAR SUPERIOR wifi router (3com) compared to the "D-link" Confused crapola router that jazz is giving away. that is basically why i chose ya.com over jazztel.

in the end, it really comes down to availability in your building. when you get a landline in, you have to put it into the websites (ya.com and jazztel.com) and see if they can cover you for adsl and at what speed.

saludos,
jer...

Thx soooze

Not sure what I am more excited about - imminent arrival in Madrid or Chelsea's fantastic victory over Barca. I guess that was some sort of consolation for Real supporters - sorry to see them crash out last night - a Chelsea v RM semi would have been a great occasion, I am sure. Never mind - the Madrilenos can get behind the Blues now!
