All of the Irish Bars will be showing the games, take your pick. Finnegans , Plaza de las Salesas,has a great rugby crowd and the atmosphere is good, it can get packed so get there early. Triskel, Calle San Vicente Ferrer and Moores, Calle Barcelo, just around the corner from Triskel and Calle Felipe 3, right by the Plaza Mayor are also good and they serve food. The best place to go is (obviously) where I work, The Irish Rover in Avenida del Brasil 7, it is near the Real Madrid stadium, not in the center so it might not suit, but I have to plug the place. Whilst on the subject of RUGBY, there is quite a following for the game in Spain. Down in Western Andalucia, in my 2nd home in El Puerto de Santa Maria, the local rugby club is called : C R A P which is short for Club de Rugby Atletico Portuense (the Portuense are the local people in El Puerto) The local club website is :: http://www.craportuense.com/ There is a thriving women's team as well. Many, many thanks guys! We'll probably head for Finnegans as it's within staggering distance of where we're staying. However, there is a chance that the boys might want to see Real Madrid Stadium so the Irish Rover might get invaded by the "Birthday Crowd"!

Unfortunately, I forgot it's the Six Nations match between England and Scotland. Does anyone know of any good pubs where he and his mate can watch it? We're staying in the centre of town so anywhere is OK.
