I want to record spanish radio from the internet. Does anyone know if there is a piece of software that will enable me to do this. Then hopefully I can put it on CD, listen to it in my car, and accelerate my spanish learning curve.
Muchas gracias
Andrew

Well, here's another well old post that I'm bringing back to life - Jer does this one get the record - nearly a year without posts?! Red Face

Anyway, I've been able to record to hard drive streams from internet radio stations using a clever program called Audio Hijack, from those top chaps at http://www.rogueamoeba.com/

The program only works on apple macs, but you can then record your stream as MP3 and burn on to CD for listening to later. You can also "hijack" audio samples from any audio device playing and even from a DVD. Hours of fun!

Cheers, Miggus

Juan,

Check these links below. They have software that vary in price (from free to 30 bucks), methodolgy, etc. (Total recorder and replay-radio seem to be your best bets as both let you pre-program your pc like a VCR and record different stations' programs on the schedule you set)
These links also provide listing of different encoding tools, and radio stations listings:

Hope it helps
