Big thumbs up to the folks over at the town hall for their new, and MUCH improved, version of
www.munimadrid.es (the offical Madrid website).

I dis however send them an e-mail yesterday about the interesting way they translated the word "Fuentes" on the menu of images to "Fonts"
You see, in Spanish, the word "fuente" means both "fountain" and "font" (typeface) in English but they chose the wrong one
Also noteworthy are the very cool fish-eye globe views that make up the virtual tour of the outside & inside of the town hall at
www.munimadrid.es/Principal/monograficos/visitavirtualvv/e_virtual.asp 
So, it was about time they cracked open the municipal piggy bank and had a decent website designed for this great city.
Kudos to them!!! Now I will stop beating on their poor web design of years past
