I am watching the 77th Oscars / Academy Awards live via satellite and it was just announced.
The award was presented by Gweneth Paltrow, who not only is fluent in Spanish but spent / spends a lot of time here in Spain.
Almenavar accepted the award as Spain Wins the 2005 Best Foreign Film Oscar for 'Mar Dentro'.
Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz were in the audience showing their support.
