Just a quick note to say I tried signing up with Jazztell. First, I couldn't finish the order because they network was down They still took all my info (30 minutes worth of time) but wouldn't give me a name to refer to when I would call back. So naturally, when I called back a few hours later there was no sign of my paperwork. So all over again. Then they asked for my bank information which I didn't have since I was at an Internet cafe at the time. I get home an hour later call up and again no record . Then after all that we get the information all in and they ask me if I'm the proprietor of the line. Noooo.... That would be my wife. So I wait until she comes home and does the whole silly process over again. Then they tell here it'll be 3-5 weeks!!!! A week later the paperwork arrives but they're insistant on taking over the local phone calls something which Juliette had promised to Telefonica. So.... Wanadoo is also offering 20 Mbps at 9€ less a month and isn't hung up about the local calls thing. Since we had them before we'll probably just go with the devil we know. - Roland

hey Roland. CAREFUL!!! the wanadoo promo is 20 euros a month (9 less as you say) but ONLY UNTIL jan. 31, 06. as i stated on the 20mb jazztel thread ... quote: by the way, now wanadoo is also trying to sell the 20 mega adsl + free calls service and they are offering it for 20 euros/month until jan. 06 but then it goes up to 42 euros/month.
gotta read the fine print, it says... quote: * Consultar las Bases de la Promocin "ADSL 20Mb + Llamadas Nacionales 20/mes hasta 31 de Enero de 2006". Resto de cuotas 42 euros/mes.
so in the long run, you lose big as it is 12 euros more per month after jan. than the jazztel one is also, ,i could have sworn you had a nightmare with wanadoo? or am i confusing you with someone else? ok, guess i am alone in this jazztel thang if i decide to do it no way i am going for it if i have significant downtime. personally i do not care who handles my calls within spain, as long as i don't have to pay for them Roland, any reason Jules insists on having telefonica handle local calls? or is it personal? just wanna understand. saludos, jer...
