I find that the artists that paint these usually do not do justice to the actors/actrices in the films and at times you can not even recognize them. On the other hand, it is an interesting and more artistic alternative to the typical mass produced movie posters and sometimes (like the one in THIS PHOTO from the "Cines Callao" in Madrid), they come out pretty good and lifelike.
Anyone know if they do this hand painting of the movie posters in other countries or is Spain the only one?
