hey Candela. you should have roaming activated by default but call vodafone cust. serv. (123 from your cell) to be sure. you will be charged a lot more than when in spain and incoming calls will no longer be free. you will roam on the vodafone uk network so while you have voda cust. serv. on the line, ask them what you will pay for incomoming and outgoing. last i checked it was... - 48 eurocents per min. incoming. - 78 eurocents per min. outgoing (back to spain). ... but ask to be sure. saludos and have fun!  jer...

It also costs 45c to receive a text message from a Spanish phone, 30c to send a text to a British phone, but nothing to send a text to a Spanish phone (for some reason I can't figure out!!) As jer says it costs 78c per min for outgoing calls, but my last bill (over Xmas) says I paid 68c per min for incoming  You must set up roaming before you leave Spain! Have a good time in cold London!!!!
