Here's a new thread intended for people to put 'interesting' link titbits they stumble across that don't quite fit elsewhere. Not being in Spain at the moment, I for one enjoy snippets about new Spanish techno developments (no, not Juliette's decks

)for example, that might not make the English front pages. After all, science and technology is what lets the art and culture that is multimadrid work! From the Queen of Fun's Candied Treats to our illustrious leader's JerBursts, these taste sensations and others would be unheard of without the men in white coats who invent this stuff. Obviously, OTHER men in white coats may soon deprive us of this pleasure...
Here's something I noticed today -
estupendo computer being built in spain - will this help propel Spain back into the world power league?
Something else to consider
The Chinese really are coming! - I wonder what 'shape' the tourism industry will become once we have this new wave of visitors?
Both those links were originally found from stories linked to at
Madridcity.com - part of WN Network.
So, whether it's new, different or odd but you feel it's somehow relevant and other people should know about it, and you don't know where else to put it, why not put it here?
Hit me with your zeitgeist
schtickJer - by the power invested in you, you could actually create a new uber-category for this kind of stuff. Could provide ingredients for webzine articles...
