The mention of the british programing in another post reminded me that they are doing an American version of the classic British mocu-drama 'The Office'. Did the networks learn nothing after the fiasco involving the America-inizing of 'Coupling'? Can you imagine the fun if they tried to do an english version of 'Betty La Fea'? Ooo, or better yet of 'Ana y Los Siete'? Escandalo!!!

I agree that there is no reason to remake something that is already in English into American English. I am sure that most people will get it enough as is.

Bonnie. You of all people who goes by / calls yourself the 'Nanny' as your nick / board name should know that 'Ana y Los Siete' is a cheap rip off of the Fran Dresher, American TV Sit Com called the 'Nanny'.

Television is not food, water, or shelter....you don't NEED it. So, rather than worry about who copies whom, who is doing whom, etc., just turn it off, read a book, or go for a walk.

my rather learned and always sought after opinion is that the Playboy channel should be the only channel allowed on TV - - that way - nobody would worry about who copied whom! BTW, I only watch it for the articles!!
