hey all, went to the "juanes" ( www.juanes.net ) concert in madrid last night, totally AWESOME!!!

if you want the videos, you will have to come to my office and bring me a cd to burn them on (can do it in a few minutes while you wait) since they weigh 28+ megas
Irene, i got a GREAT video (28 MB) of the entire song "a dios le pido", really captures the atmosphere of the show. since you are a fan, i can send you a cd with all the footage if you e-mail me your snailmail address.
the tix were free and "seats" actually just standing room. the concert was a "concierto b�sico" (basic concert) that many artists give to kick off their tours here. he sang about 15 songs and there were only a few hundred people in the crowd.
it was at the c�rculo de bellas artes on calle alcal�, on the top floor in a dome room they have for these events.
the first public concert of his tour is actually tonight at sala la riviera here in madrid (been sold out for months).
Fab, thanks, that means a lot since you have no idea how hard it was to get good shots. the floor of the concert room is designed to give a little so it can absorb the shocks of the crowd jumping around like crazy so many of my pics from last night came out crappy.
saw the chili peppers there in the past as well. i remember that it was next to impossible to get a decent still shot of the chilis...
madsue, that "bloke" is "juanes" but to you i guess he is just a piece of meat :jeje:
actually, you pretty much could have done that if you were there, the concert hall is so small that no matter when you get there, you are pretty much on top of the group. eat the pic above (or is he not your type?).
jer, Hi there! really loved those pictures! You guys were so lucky to get to see Juanes and be so close. My students adore Juanes and we listen to his songs so often in class. I would love a copy of that video to show my classes...is that possible? Also, I hope I can use one of those fotos on my class webpage...I know they would love to see Juanes on our class homework page...gracias...Esperanza *aka marcela
