Hey Danny, I just did some researching of my own and have decided to attend St. Louis University in Madrid. Stateside, St. Louis is ranked as the 6th best private Jesuit university in the country. They offer pretty much everything at their Madrid campus. The way it works is, you can take your first two years of whatever program with them, from art history to biology, and then you transfer to the stateside campus to finish up. In my case I am looking to do some prereqs to apply to nursing school next year. I found out I can do them at St. Louis in Madrid. The Winter term starts in January and the deadline to apply as a visiting student (my case since I am not pursuing a degree with them) is October 30th. Visit them at SLU Madrid Also, I sent an email to the "contact us" address and they were very prompt and helpful in their reply. Good Luck, Candela

Hi guys, I had been meaning to post this question a while back but didn't think there could be any solution. Anyone from NY is probably familiar with NYU. They have a whole school dedicated to continuing education with classes geared towards professionals. I was trying to find soemthing in Madrid similar to this but didn't think it would be worthwhile as everything would be in Spanish. Does anyone know if these English univs. in Madrid have anything like continuing education classes? Specifically, NYU had a Building Management course but since I won't be here I can't attend. Consequentially, does anyone know of any courses like that in Madrid (Bldg. Mgmt, Property Mgmt. etc..)? Sorry for the rambling.

Hi everybody. I'm new on this site and I want to congrat jer on this great effort. Well, here is what I want to write about: I am from Mexicali, Mexico and I will be studying at "Universidad Politecnica de Madrid" the "Master en Sistemas y Redes de Comunicacion". I still know nothing about Madrid and I would like to know if someone could advice where to get my accomodation given my university. Has someone a link to an electronic map where I can see my University? I also would like if you have any good advice on activities at UPM. Jer, I've seen the voleyball activities posted and I guess I would like to join but I will reach Madrid on Octuber (still some months from today). Greetings. KASHO. DLA.
Ojala todos tengamos muchos dias llenos de motivos para sonreir
