Hola! I am a graduate student here in Spain, and I have been here since September 1st and I still dont have an apartment. Segundamano is a joke, and lets just say that my patience is running out. I will be here until the end of June, so if anybody knows of anybody that has an apartment, or a room in a apartment, please let me know. Thanks.

Dear mikec,
Please write me in detail, for example your budget, location in which looking for place and any other relevant information.
I'll try to check with some friends who usually rent room in their apartments.

Stone,

I am willling to pay up to 75.000 pesetas/month for a room here in Madrid. I would prefer to be in el barrio de Salamanca since that is close to the university where I am studying and I would prefer to be in a place where Spanish is the primary language of the house, however priority #1 is getting into an apartment.

Thanks for your help,
Michael

Hi mikec !

I may be able to help you. We all know how difficult it is to find a place in Madrid, especially at this time of the year.

There is a nice cheap room available in Chamberi. Please contact me if you are interested in seeing it.

I wish you the best of luck,

Don

Hi there!
I'm looking for a place to live in Madrid..
I'll be arriving at Madrid at the end of June, I'll start studying in September and I'll look for a job too.
If any of you know somebody who rents an inexpensive room for a girl - I'm 22 years old, I don't smoke, I'm tidy, I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese... and some French! - please contact me!
Thanks a lot!

Hi-

A couple of you replied to mikec saying you could probably help him find a place in Madrid by talking to friends that rent rooms/apartments. Would any of you by chance have any contacts who do the same in the city of Valencia? I'm moving there this September with a friend and we need to find our own place by the begining of October. I'm planning on looking in Segundamano, but someone said it was a joke..? We're looking for 2 bedrooms, furnished (furniture and electrodomesticas), AC and heat... Can tell you more if you actually might be able to help. Please let me know if you can!

Thanks! Rebecca

Hi Rebecca --

Hopefully youll check back on this thread as I have only just seen your post regarding housing in Valencia.

Now that you are here and in Valencia, are you still looking for a place? Let me know, I have friends (true blue valencianos) there who may have some ideas... drop me an email at reb_gaspar@yahoo.com

Saludos from another Rebecca Big Grin
