I am currently a junior at NYU and really want to do a masters in Cinema Studies in Spain, but I don't understand what the equivalent of a masters is in Spain, or whether there are any universities that even offer cinema studies programs. HELP!

I recently met a woman in Buffalo who just finished a degree in filmmaking at the Universidad in Barcelona. So there's a start.
She said the filmmaking education in Spain is much more hands-on than here. While you do your share of watching and discussing great films, you're expected to be writing, cutting, producing, and otherwise MAKING films the whole time too...and sometimes being unpaid labor for the professors and other professional filmmakers. Which is what she's doing in Buffalo now.
