is this audrey tan? halooo! how are you?
ive studied the becas mae program (because i also wanted to get a scholarship!), you need to prepare for your studies in spain at least a year before..the application for scholarship normally opens in october, and ends december.
my advice to you is to know what you want to study first..i didnt, hence i was so frustrated..my search for the right school was so long and it kept going around in circles..in the end, i gave it up (for now at least)..
one thing to consider is that the schoolyear in spain normally starts october. so let's say you want to study masters next oct 2005, you should start looking for a school now (so you can take your time)..do your research before the actual application for beca starts on oct 2004..be in contact with the school (ask them when's the earliest you can apply, etc). i dont think there is such a thing as preparing too early.. one requirement for the beca is an acceptance letter from the school anyhow..
if you need more info, you can go ask agencia espanola..although i think now they're busy screening the applicants who are vying for the 2004 schoolyear..
one option i was looking into was the short course in spain..for the beca, they'll only sponsor a one-month study program either during july or august..i gave this up too because i prefer to stay there longer, for at least two months..
anyhow, best of luck to you! spain's been my dream since my poveda days as well!
