Hola nios!!!! I am from Madrid but i travelled to the Netherlands last year. I had the experience of my life! it was a year full of fun and new mates from all over the world! My best friends were a crazy Aussie girl and a Chinesse guy.
Arriving in a foreign country is a shock! The culture, the people and often, the language...seem to be huge handicaps to go through... but then you get in and you discover how much you have to discover, how many places and faces...
If you are thinking of coming to Madrid as an Erasmus student, maybe you don't find lots to do at the University, but there are great people that will welcome!
Post here if you need any help in Madrid. I can be your "intercambio".
Hasta luego! Sara sky_of_tulips@yahoo.es

I studied in the Netherlands on exchange too! I'm not European, so I couldn't call it Erasmus, but all my friends did. I loved it. What city were you in? I was in Groningen, the bike capital of the world.
