Hi I have some question regarding to traveling within schengen area. I have heard of many conflicting stories about the student visa type D. In my visa it stated that number of entries 1, I'm guessing im only once entering spain or does this mean once i entered spain, I can travel freely without leaving schengen area. Also my visa stated valid for Espana (+trans .05 schegen). and the thing is that there is no passport control within the schengen countries due to the schegen agreement to abolish passport control. its just like travel in domestic. So my question is will i be able to travel within schengen area and come back to madrid. Did anyone experience passport control when entering back into madrid from schengen countries???

Thanks,
Pub
