Basque courses - Topic Powered by eve community

I want to spend time in Spain seeing my friends this summer but at the same time in order to go a year and a half from now to do my thesis, I'll need to get a course done over the summer. I'm hoping they'll allow me to substitute the course "intro to non-indoeuropean languages" with a course in Basque, which I could do in Spain. Does anyone know of any good schools that offer it? Here's the difficult part... I would rather them be in Santander or Barcelona so I can save on housing costs by staying with friends. I have a while to think about it but I want to have some names to run by the department head when I go in to talk about my plans for my last year of the degree next month.

Years ago I did a course with the Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo www.uimp.es in Santander, maybe they would be able to advise you?

I already looked at unimp because originally I was thinking of doing their summer course on teaching Spanish as a foreign language but it doesn't cross list with anything over here so that's out. Another message board gave me the names of two academies in Barcelona that would probably have it so I'm going to give them to some friends to check out and hopefully it'll work out with my advisor
