My girlfriend and I (we are both 26 years old) will be studying at a language school for two weeks at the end of June and we can't decide between Sevilla or Granada. They both seem to offer so much, and whichever one we choose, we will definitely visit the other.

I would sincerely appreciate any advice from those of you who have experienced both cities.

If you go to Sevilla, it is on the AVE to Madrid so you will have more mobility.
Check these sites for more info. They are run by people who live in and love these cities.
Also, really, your question is kinda like a matter of six of one, half dozen of the other. Both towns are charming, Andalucian, and full of activities. Why don't you flip a coin?

granada is my fave city in all of spain but Candy is right, sevilla would allow you to get to madrid more easily but then again, if you are here only 2 weeks you will barely even be able to see sevilla and granada, much less madrid.

i assume that did not help much but 2 weeks is so little time cry

saludos,
jer...

If you want to do a whirlwind tour of Spain in two weeks, then Granada isn't a great location to base yourself in (it's surrounded by mountains so it takes longer to get to other places).

If you want to stay in one place and immerse yourself, then I would pick Granada, hands-down. I just love that city. From Granada you can visit the little pueblos in the Sierra Nevada and go to the beach...

We're going to spend 2 weeks in Granada/Sevilla and then two weeks in Salamanca, when hopefully we can visit Madrid. So I'm not overly concerned with using our Andalucian city as a base for traveling around Spain.
