My catalan is a bit rusy, can anybody help me with a pronunciation guide to say Fa Goig!?

Isn�t that just a very subtle change of pronunciation though? Here in the Canaries "yo" is used an awful lot, and the pronunciation changes depending on who you are talking to - from a really hard "y" as in yolk, to a "j" as in jolly, to almost "sh" or zsh!!!! It is really quite difficult to write down a sound!!!
