Hello.

Here there is a spanish joke playing with the meaning of the word "su". Normally "su" is used to show possesion of the 3rd person of the singular "El", but also is used when you are talking "de usted". "Usted" is a more educated way to say "tu". In Spain is used very little and just when talking with old people or with very importan people as a chairman or something like this.

Well, I don't know how to explain it very well, so, here you are the joke (a bit difficult to understand).

Big Grin Big Grin
P.D: (Menudo elemento el Lpez!, eh?) Big Grin

Hey - brilliant joke - its not the first time I heard it though - I think I heard it before, maybe its similar in French. My Spanish is not so hot, so I used a tranlator to check out the detail. I think that is almost more amusing in the translation (which follows)-

The detective expires with the assignment, returns and reports:
- Lpez goes out normally to the midday, takes(catches) his(its) car, is going to his(its) house to have lunch, then it(he,she) does the love to his(its) wife, there smokes one of his(its, her) excellent cigars and returns to work.
- Ah, good, less badly, there is no anything villain(bad) in everything it.
- I can tutearlo, gentleman? - the detective asks then.
- If, since(as,like) not!. - the president answers surprised.
- I repeat: Lopez goes out normally to the midday, takes(catches) YOUR car, is going to YOUR house to have lunch, then it(he,she) does the love to YOUR wife, there smokes one of YOUR excellent cigars and returns to work.
P.D: (tiny element the Lopez!, eh?)

Salud!
