hey Willy, welcome to the forums.
i had only heard that word on one tv show here and it was used as an expression of surprise like "holy crap!" so i looked it up on the
www.rae.es site and it seems that when referring to a man, it can mean...
quote:
2. m. Hombre torpe, zonzo, bobo.
3. m. Hombre grueso, rechoncho.
in case you need vocab help...
- torpe = clumsy.
- zonzo = silly or simple-minded.
- bobo = silly.
- grueso = thick (physically), big-boned.
- rechoncho = short and chunky.
so, i am hoping that she uses it as a term of endearment like "you silly chunky man" or something like that

if not, i can recommend a few words for you to call her

saludos,
jer...
