I agree with Tonys first part of the interpretation. However, I think "la bien" refers to "la oportunidad". Such as the girl is doing you a favor in giving you another opportunity.

So, my translation would be:

Ok, I will give you an opportunity/chance/shot. Take advantage of "this good fortune/opportunity" dear Andrew.

Hi Andrew,

Translation = "Ok, I will give you a chance, take advantage of it dear Andrew, thank you"

As a former teacher of Spanish (once a teach always a teach, you can take the teacher away from the red pen but ya can't take the red pen away from the teacher Confused ) I must add that the phrase...

quote:
"Vale, te dare una oportunidad. Aprovecha la bien querido Andrew.
Gracias."
... is gramatically incorrrect as the pronoun "la" should be attached at the end of the word "Aprovecha" making it...

quote:
"Vale, te dar una oportunidad. Aprovchala bien querido Andrew.
Gracias."
... accent mark over the "" included (in both "Aprovchala" and "dar"

Aaaaaaarrrrggghhhh is there any hope for ex teachers Eeker

Saludos,
jer...

p.d. tonytorero and all, I have been carrying out "International Relations??!!" with Ena (my Spanish goddess Smiler ) for many years and I highly recommend it Big Grin

Hmmmm... before any of you smarties misinterpret my last phrase...

quote:
p.d. tonytorero and all, I have been carrying out "International Relations??!!" with Ena (my Spanish goddess ) for many years and I highly recommend it.
... I would like to calrify that I do not recommend "relaciones internacionales" with my Ena but rather with the Spanish beauties in general.

Just felt I had to nip that one in the bud before it got out of hand.

Saludos,
jer...

I agree about the "la"(referring back to "la oportunidad") being attached, etc. A lot of "I'm meeting you halfway" in between the lines.

As for your twisted mind, let me see: you are a male, so you have this "poison" called testosterone which affects clear thinking when it comes to the ladies.

Totally unrelated: There was this great show on the Discovery Channel called "Ancient Inventions: Sex and Love" in which I learned that the toothbrush was invented in Crdoba in the 800's. I think they mentioned that the "Moors" also invented distillation of essential oils in an alembic(sp?) so we have those folks to thank for two things that make nearness more pleasant.... 10,000 pounds of rose petals=1 pound/pint rose oil.

Nope...You're not the only one buddy. I do too. My best guess is that our affliction must be an advantageous bi-product that's experienced by those of us who have had those relaciones internacionales with the aforementioned Spanish beauties that you referred to... Big Grin Wink Red Face
