Hmmm...not sure. A "pupa" is an injury. It seems to be more of a word you use with babies and children, at least I always hear it in that context. Maybe your friend Pupita gets injured a lot?

Boo boo is a pet name in English as well. My mother used to call my brother that, and then there was Boo Boo bear, the little friend of Yogi.
