Hi. Im here!! I just arrived today! The weather is wonderful. I, too, will be looking for a job teaching English after a monthe in Salamanca. Lets help each other out by posting anything and everything that could be of any help. Im interested in Canterbury. I believe it was Danilelito who was going there, please let us know how its going.... Good luck to us all!!!!!!!

Any news on teaching the 'medical professionals'? I franchised with Alexander International in Athens and wrote a course for them 6 months ago. The money is slowly trickling in from it. My plan for Madrid is to teach Business and Medical English freelance.

Great link Tony. Thanks. The problem I've had in the past regarding teaching Med terminology to Pharmaceutical companies/med professionals is 'which side of the pond do they want to go and work on?' eg: British v American / Adrenaline v Epinephrine The list is endless.... The course I wrote has back to back pages in the literature - one for British and one for American - the hardest part was the spellings... eg: colour v color etc... I'd like to get in touch with you when in Madrid if that's OK with you

Interesting, I am a Pre-Radiography student, but I am looking travel to Spain first for awhile to do the TEFL thing. Do you know anything about the Medical system in Spain? I know that as a U.S. RT I could transfer my skills to Canada and Australia, but I am not sure about any European countries. I wonder if nursing is any different, if so it would be an a good way to earn a living abroad.

I hope this helps.
