Any suggestions for the end of the year? Confused These last few classes are so difficult to keep everyone engaged.
Today, Jer, as they were walking in to class, I had your site on to the panoramic views of Madrid. ( Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Espaa, etc.) Big Grin I happened to be in a classroom that had a large screen. I also had some music playing from the "live music" part of the Multimadrid site. It was great! Thanks again for making Spain so much of my, and now my students, lives.
Smiler
Afterwards, we watched some Spanish commercials. They are going to work on their own original commercials this week and present them to the class next week. It is a way of ending the unit on Commands.

I don't think I need more advice...but I thought others might benefit from this idea. The panoramic views are wonderful. Cool

Marcela, you may have already seen it, but there is a wonderful commercial in Pedraza de la Sierra that is about the running of the Squirrels, that is hilarious! It's a mock of the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona! :jeje:

marcela, I remeber my first (and last) year teaching high school in NY and I know what you mean.

Glad the PANOS are a big help.

Been meaning to do some more but have not had the time, any requests for when I do go create some more?

Saludos,
jer...

What about a panoramic view of the inside of the Mercado San Miguel. That way some teachers can actually have a view when they talk about food. Just a thought.

I loved the ardilla clip. It was very funny.

Besides the " Running of the Squirrels", EDS also has a funny commercial about "herding cats". (10MB) Big Grin Looks like it could have been filmed here.

Here's the page that talks about it, has download/view links:
