I am currently conducting some research into the "e-learning" of English on behalf of a friend of mine who is thinking of entering the Spanish market with a new product.
I would be very grateful for any teachers who could help me out with questions like:
- who is currently providing Internet based-teaching systems?
- are these packages bought off the shelf or bespoke developments put together by the big academies like International House
- do Spanish students like working in this way?
- what sort of costs are associated with these systems for initial purchase and licensing arrangements?
- who are the main providers of content, are these products multi-lingual (english, french, german, etc.) or purely english content?
- what do you see as the advantages and disadvantages of these systems?
- are there any Business English learning systems out there?
Wow - now I have written this out it seems like a lot of requests!?!? Oh well, if you can help on any aspect of this it will be greatly appreciated.
