http://www.comadrid.es/comun/serviciosSociales/0,3153,52810701_52834707_110785496_12082203,00.html

http://www.munimadrid.es/principal/ayuntamiento/organos.asp
>Servicios Sociales>Voluntariado Social

http://www.voluntariado.net/castellano/scripts/plantilla.asp?Pag=1

Saludos

Hi, Becky!! This is Cristina. How unfortunate we didn't get to talk about this at the dinner. But anyway, I was wondering if you were able to find out anything more about the ONG issue. See, I've been doing NGO work too in the Philippines and would really love to get back to it. It's good to see someone interested too. That motivates me into moving my ass. If I find out something, I'll let you know and if you do so, likewise, I hope.

By the way, a few posts up, somebody said he had a friend who has an NGO for kids, if you have more info as to what kind of help he needs, please let me know. Anyone else, interested?? You get less lazy when you know other people are interested = ) Anyway, beck, will write if I find out something. Thanks for the links, guys.

Chica,

Hi. If you are still looking for a place to volunteer, there is a Red Cross right by the store that is looking for volunteers. One of the girls who works in Joventud put a sign up recently. So if you are still interested ask for Ana Santa in the Red Cross on C/Pozas. Hope that helps.

I wrote to one of those Voluntarios por Madrid which give some sort of training and then you form part of a pool of volunteers or something like that. I am not really sure. I wanted more information and stuff but they said it would be better to pass by in their office at C/jose ortega y gasset, 100 from 9:30 to 19:30 (Beatriz Irata Gascn was the person who wrote me). And they are in Concejalia de Gobierno de Empleo y Servicios al ciudadano.
