Hi.
I am writing because I own a western samoan stoat. I am soon moving to Madrid and I am wishing to mate the stoat with a Madrilean stoat. Is there a stoat owners association society or anyone that knows of a number I can call? I will also be moving here with my Aunt Naphta, who is of Hungarian descent but claims to have been abducted by Spanish aliens that came from Zamora. I do not wish to intrude and warrant more information than I deserve, but does anyone know of abducted aunts with nephews with stoats from Zamora? Is this usual in Spain?
Plus, my sister's father may be coming over to visit and he likes British food. Does anyone know of a place that will do an English breakfast sans stoat puree and how can I get it cheaply?
By the by, as I am about it, what is this "juerga" I keep hearing of that apparently happens in Madrid?
Could you please tell me the price of railway tickets, theatre tickets, the Spanish "main drag", the Spanish possibilities for winning an Oscar not in the name of Peter Almodovar, describe traffic signals, the best choice of underwear whilst visiting Spain, what to do about Iraq and how to use a "trouser" zipper?
I would be very grateful as I am seldom grateful for anything and you will probabaly never hear from me again.
thank you
-A Lurker

So there!

I looked up "stoat" on www.dictionary.com
quote:
n. Chiefly British pl. stoat or stoats
The ermine, especially when in its brown color phase.
Considering Western Samoa is in the tropics, I can't imagine any stoats living there. Confused

Thanks Paul but I must admit that after reading your definition I had to go to www.dictionary.com to look up "ermine" :jeje:

quote:
"A weasel (Mustela erminea) of northern regions, having a black-tipped tail and dark brown fur that in winter changes to white."
Say, good luck mating your weasel in Madrid (wierder things have been done here I am sure) :l:

This all reminds me of that muskrat love song Big Grin

Hey Jer,

Somehow I recalled seeing pictures of royal garments that were trimmed with white ermine fur. Don't ask me how I can remember that, when I can't remember what I had for breakfast today. :jeje: :jeje:

hey Jer, booklady!
You're not going to believe this, but recently I saw part of a documentary that mentioned, among other things, STOATS!
It looks kinda like a ferret. Some reli of the rodent family anyway...
And if this person is for real- I don't know if you would have trouble breading it or not, they may not even be allowed in Spain (legally)
In the US you theoretically have to have a special permit to own ferrets... mostly to have them accounted for in the event that they become a problem I guess (like rabbits did in Australia) or rats and mice can prove to be problematic.

Maybe there's an illegal Stoat undergound?!!?!?! [Embarassed]

I know, I know, this is a ferret not a stoat.

Here in Yorkshire we keep them inside our jackets to keep us warm in winter :l: and to also share our pint with down the pub

Lol! Yes, that ferret does look a bit like a meerkat. They often pose like that.

I love meerkats, they are so funny.

We have a couple living next door (vets) who have two ferrets and take them for walks on leads! One is an albino and, even though it's tummy drags on the ground everywhere it goes, it remains in pristine condition.

Here is another picture of a ferret, I didn't use this the first time coz it just looks tooo sad Frowner

When my cousin got married several years ago (in Manchester), another cousin took his ferret with him in his jacket. It was very well behaved and remained there throughout the ceremony, the reception and even the evening do  He was allowed out for a quick look around every now and again Cool

English version:

"It was very cold in the refuse container, but strangely enough i quite enjoyed the experience due to,i suppose, the alcohol." "Those nice chaps in uniform were only doing their best, but slightly exaggerated my plight."
