Thanks JamesH. That combined with the 24 hour police watch ( PHOTO HERE), should get our lady of Madrid back to her previous glory  For those of you who do not read Spanish, the article linked to by JamesH above basically is about the start of the restoration of the lopped-off left hand of "La Cibeles". I'm new to this board, but some of you already know me... This happened to Neputune after a championship futbol game one time... Drunk or not, game or no game, this and much of the other crimes of this type, as well as the trash left after the botellones.. if the kids are 14 or adults I don't care how old, there needs to be A LOT more community service handed out! Aside from having to pay fines, these people need to be inconvenienced and shown that they can't just fork over the cash to get something fixed or cleaned, but made to do something positive for their community. Maybe then they'll be more appreciative of it, or at least think twice before doing something like that again!

Hey Jer - I just saw in El Pais that Cybeles' hand was replaced. Do you have any good pics of the ceremony? The newspaper had one - but I read it in Acrobat so I cannot grab the pic. Saludos!

Hey buddy, checking in from a MAC computer at the Apple stand at SIM TCI tech fair in Madrid, www.simovirtual.com . Scored a professionals pass from a biz contact, imagine that, me a professional Did not go to the ceremony, sorry, no pic from me If you want to grab that pic from the PDF file, just get it on screen, do a screen grab with the print screen key, open a photo editing program like photoshop and then a new doc and paste in with control plus the v key. Today they removed the scaffolding and plastice cover from our lady 6 weeks after those idiota tore off her hand, it is now replaced with a shiny new one. Glad to have her back in form but the pathetic part is that the 30,000 Euros it cost have been taken out of municipal funds!!! Yup, in other words, our taxes So, until the trial of the "idiots" and the final decision on who will pay, the bill has been paid by the city  Saludos, jer...
