Ok, Gmail is the new already infamous email service from google. It gives you 1GB storing space and it looks cool too.
It is still a Beta version and you still cant sign up for it. I Can assure you it is pretty cool. It shows email correspondences very neatly ordened and more in a forum/chat format for long correspondence. Quite useful
Gmail, also changes the way webbased e-mail works, by actually keeping all emails gathered by conversation rather than by time received with is really handy, though a bit confusing at first.
It allows using keyboard shortcuts so if you want to compose a message for example you just hit the "c" key from the main page and it opens a compose new message form. Very neat.
Search engine the tool is obviously google's which is awsome...
I have given all my invitations out from the last batch, but if Hilko can't fullfill all the requests now, I should be getting more soon.
I hate quotations. Tell me what you know.

I would love to beat the rush and get my trial version of GMAIL sooner rather than later. I already registered to receive it weeks ago but anything that can be done to speed it up would be cool.

What does everyone think about the privacy issues. I personally don't care, I don't have any child porn going through my email account, but I do agree with one issue the annoying civil libertarians have been saying:
Ok, so by signing up we agree to our emails to be read, fair enough, but what about people emailing us who haven't agreed to have their emails scanned?
Like I said, I don't care personally, but I thought it was a point worth raising.
